2. I am not an athlete. Can I still get a sports massage?
Yes. Sometimes the muscles need a firm treatment to assist in recovery from daily activities to reduce swelling and pain.
3. What if I need to cancel my appointment?
We understand that sometimes plans change. To provide the best possible service and ensure fairness to all clients, we kindly request adherence to the following cancellation policy:
- Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost.
- No-shows will be charged the full service amount.

5. If I have a group of friends and we want a private class, is this possible?
Yes it is. Just contact us at pilatesjanica@gmail.com and let’s book you in.
6. I have never been to a Sports Therapist, what should I expect?
An initial Sports Therapist session includes:
Analysing if there is anything to change in daily activities to increase wellbeing.
Carrying out a full body assessment.
Checking joint range of motion.
Performing orthopaedic testing.
Massaging muscles and mobilising joints
Releasing fascial tissue.
Assisting in stretching and strengthening the body
Providing individual pre rehabilitation and rehabilitation programs
7. When should I not go for a treatment?
If you suffer from a cold, flu or other conditions that can affect your breathing. Other red flags in other words conditions when not to have a massage or other body treatments is if you have cancer, skin infection or heart conditions. If you are pregnant some areas can still be treated, but always discuss this with your physician first. If you have any medical concerns always let your therapist know before starting any treatment.
8. What should I wear for a Sports therapy or a sports massage therapy session?
Comfortable clothes that you can easily remove.
A sports bra is not recommended unless you can take it off completely (when treating the shoulders and upper back).
9.. Can you provide services in any other languages?
Yes we can use Finnish or English which ever you are most comfortable with
